Just wondering if its normal to want to go out drinking/dancing 3 nights a week and not get home till daylight? Tiring, expensive but I seem to be addicted to it. Any others out there?
:rave:
Nope, nice mug of cocoa and bed with my book by 9.30 for me :)
Although I was (and still am) fond of a pint or two, just more days in between sessions these days!
Work seems to get in my way of my partying... :(

Probably better to ask around 6am when they get home
At midday they'll all be asleep or down the dole office...

I went through a point in my life where I hated my job so much I used to go out 6 nights a week and drink at least 8 pints of Stella.
Quit my job in the end because I had heart palipitations and liver and kidneys pains.
My all time record was 15 pints of Stella in one night...BIG Hangover.
Not anymore though. Prefer to go sit int a quiet pub and chat to a few friends.
Did that for 12 years. Army life. Got to love it. Too old and tired for that sort of thing these days.

In answer to the question at the young age of 24 i would rather go out for a few drinks with friends and a nice meal than out all night
I love it but only get to manage it 3 or 4 times a year at the moment, work, money, boring mates and lack of decent parties to go to all get in the way :(

Loved it at uni but now I rarely go out, not enough cash. Makes it all the more fun when it does happen once in a blue moon though. Would rather save and have the odd drink in the pub with mates or at home.

Never really did the party animal thing and now having 3 young kids I dont think I ever will, but it doesnt really bother me. I dont really like feeling drunk and out of control and find other ways to get my thrills ;-)

I would love to but I just dont have the energy or the money. I go out every weekend near enough, sometimes friday and saturday, but working 9-5.30 through the week means that on the odd occasion I do go out on a weeknight I always suffer for it. Its a shame really as there are some good nights on through the week, but more than 4 or 5 pints absolutely kills me the next day in work.

3 nights lol
more effort required
It's what the weekends for, going out and getting trashed :)
A few mid week pints gives you a good break from work too :)

Quite happy to go to the pub nearly every night for probably 6 or 7 pints... proper session at the weekend. One of local rock pubs is open till 3 and always somewhere else to go after :)
Clubbing is pointless unless you're after some fanny and the music's sh*te... so why bother. Especially if you're going to get charged a fiver for the privilege?
Can't afford to do it these days and to be honest stopping smoking has ruined the appeal of it, just standing around outside isn't the same. Happy enough with the odd night down the pub or out with some of you 'orrible lot.

Never found a proper one in england.
H&SE is non existent abroad, my 5' nothing mate was literally snorkling, pink eye galore, people frantically trying to bucket foam out of the sinks so they could rinse their eyes. Madness. Then a nice sunrise bath in the sea with a few beers until angry soldiers chase you off.
Well recommended :thumright:

Youngsters, they grow out of it......
I'd love to actually be able to go to the pub on a weekend once a blue flood. Can't actually remember the last time I went to such a place for a few pints....eeeee a distant memory:(
I need co-ordination of epic proportions, and booking baby sitters well in advance to even contemplate the idea.
i've kinda found myself falling into the 'weekend rockstar' category. i find my weekends just rolling together into a drunken haze and before i know it i'm back at work again doing the daily grind. its fun though, im young can afford to enjoy myself. so why not?
highlight of the year was 12 nights of carnage in vegas with 13 mates. some damage was done, to bodies and wallets! i just enjoy hanging out with my mates and we all seem to have a love for getting hammered and seeing where it takes us!
well I'm 24, and this is my sixth year of uni.
3 nights a week aint enough. Wed night and sun night are my 'days off', every other night is a night til dawn.
Worryingly, only a handful of people in my year would go out more than once a week, and if so, twice max. They're minors though. You've really gotta make the most of it before you start working and can't get away with it as easily.
