Hello all, been on here for a few months.

Just thought id say I've passed my Mod2 today. Great feeling that it is! \\:D/

Big shout out to Arthur at Smart Learning in Brackley, cracking instructor, owe a lot to him for passing.

Anyway time for me to go buy a bike this weekend!

One thought, go out and look at bikes this weekend but plan to buy one next weekend when you've had time to look around. This is a good time to be buying a bike because prices are dropping but if you can last another month you might be able to pick up a bargain because nobody wants stock sitting on the forecourt over the winter.

Blimey, do you reckon theyd drop even more? Everywhere I look seems to be dirt cheap atm. Yeah 2nd hand SV is what im mainly looking at, just want a low mileage example. Not to sure yet on maintenence etc, so want something stress free ;)

If it is Ralph's i did really look into his ad. I think hes at mawsley which is literally 10 minutes away from me. Its just the higher than average mileage thats putting me off. I can deal with the little stuff but I wouldnt have the foggiest what to do if something major went wrong.

Id be well up for rideouts however :-)

Knowing ralph, hed probably help you :)
Thing to think about when comparing, distance and cost to get to another bike let alone buy it when your there and get it back.
Whats the difference in cost between a good one and ralphs of the same age?
That difference would leave a nice pile for any repairs that might develop, but who's to say a low milage bike wont develop any faults either?

Food for thought anyway mate.
