left side is dented and scraped down, would need "pulled" .right side has a boot size dent from where my foot conected at a 100 while i was leaving the bike over the handlebars

firstly ive got a nail, however a cathrine wheel would be interesting at this time of year :)
secondly. Yup your not wrong on tanks mine is 470 quid! all for a bubble, ive kind of learned to live with it now.
your tank will be repaired to be fair and you wont notice it. can you get the decals as thats going to be the difficult thing i would have thought.

Or you could try the hairdryer/airduster method...
Going to try that on on my Z750...

Not for that much anyhow lol
Damn iphones, adjusting my words
if i were you LeClair i would snap the egay items up at that price. its going to cost you more than that to get the bits you have painted/repaired. plus its going to look more like they have been on the bike the same length of time as the other parts.
p.s. workshop 2morra so will get things straightened.

Well, you are lucky to be able to get parts.
Most of mine are discontinued, but a few are still available
For example I can have an OEM front mudguard in yellow or blue for £359.45, or the very small bit of plastic thats stuck to the seat, always breaks, for £119.50, and I need to pay a ransom to **** Turpin for the horns over the front!

who ever put that bar conversion on needs shooting, firkin mess.
Thats a brilliant Title! Far better than using intelligence, humour, originality and wit! Easier to find too, expecially if I search for anything with "Aren't" in it! I do that almost every day!
"Aren't cam Swap"
"Aren't chain Links"
"Aren't fork conversion"
"Aren't rear shock change"
... " Aren't changes to titles Great for not being able to find a thread despite the reason for the title change being to make them easier to find."
Anyhow, now Sid's finished with his power rangers suit, want to borrow my Van Dave so you can have anothere crash somewhere more convenient? :) *
* for the interests of clarity, that's a joke, and we in no way intend to defraud the insurance company. Not on the forum anyway :)

Yes that's it - you got me bang to rights there, exercising my mod-ly stick of unreason just to spoil your day and make things with 'aren't' in the title much easier to find.
Or maybe - just maybe you understand - I might have been removing a phrase with 'd**k' in it.
But that can't be right can it - it's not what you thought is it?
So it must be wrong.
Sid's finished with his power rangers suit
Fool.
just had another look at the tank... ermm its got a dent. so sturf that.

Well, it is a limited edition. A normal pointy tank would cost nearly 500 quid, I'm guessing, so for one that's had a limited run,the unique parts are likely to be more. Kudos for Suzuki for you still being able to get them new.
Incidentally, a tank for our bike is over a grand. Pays yer money etc etc :D

Bait successfull taken! It took me ages to write that so that it'd get a rise. A good half hour ;)
If thats the case Sid, why not change it to "Tongue"
Dave, have you had any quotes for having the parts repaired and repainted? I'd estimate the paint job to cost about £400-£450 from my local bloke in Newcastle (that'd be for all the panels and tank.). Unfortunately, He's moving units so isn't taking any more work on till the new year.
Surely there's a sprayer on the board that could do it for you?
