I managed to get my knee down yesterday, followed swiftly by the rest of my body and the bike. I'm ok, aching a bit this morning. Bike is not so happy.
Was my own fault, no other vehicles involved. I came into a corner a bit quick, bottled it, got a fixation on the grass verge and didnt get off the brakes quick enough. Locked the front wheel as I was tipping in and lost it. I was in two minds whether to take the corner or use the road that carries straight on as a run off. left it too late to commit.
Damage to the bike is all the front plasics and indicators are smashed up, both mirrors are gone, lost the front brake fluid resevoir, headlights are knackered, left foot hanger snapped, exhaust and rear fairings scuffed and I lost the lense off one of the rear indicators and there is a dent in the tank where it hit a road sign.
anyone know of anywhere |I can get the replacement bits let me know.
Take it easy out there

Im glad I hadnt fitted the new akra' system. It would have been on there Thursday night, but the nuts were siezed up so couldnt fit it.
Oh and in case anyone was wondering if an sv would fit in the back of a 3 door saxo, the answer is err... sort of!

I wish that I had, I only thought of it when I had already taken it out and didnt really fancy trying to get it back in there just for the photo op! One for the memory banks anyway.
