Well, a weekend of fun and games on nights culminated in a shocking night of bad weather last night. Sideways sleet, gale force winds and leaves ankle deep on some sections of motorway.
Some bugger in an Audi A3 got away from me after a ten minute pursuit by going down an alley the X5 wouldn't fit through - not a happy bunny, doesn't happen often, but the boss doesn't approve of dented jeeps.
Then, the temperature dropped again and it became truly miserable.

My bike hasn't been out for weeks, I'm doing the football (on a job bike) at Eastlands on Wednesday and the weather looks similar to last night.
Overall, it's hibernation time.
Thanks for listening,
Tired and sleepy,
Pete ;)
please tell me that picture wasn't taken last night.

Aberdeens like a river, worst rain this year so far... And bloody cold...
If it freezes tonight, tomorrow morning will be fun :(
Pete, as an aside...do you know whether the Manchester side of Macclesfield gets hit hard with snow during the winter?(My wife has just got a job there)

Ahh OK. Cheers.
Hell yes, and today I took delivery of 180bhp of rear wheel drive fun :D
I was in near Hexham last week and could see snow on the pennines. Then on Sunday going across to Rockingham it was sleeting. I think we could be due a proper winter again.

No snow here but was nightshift last night and were tied up dealing with vehicles trapped in floods and trees landing on cars etc etc. Worst wind and rain we have had for a long time!

Been scraping ice of the vehicle for a while. The rain has been so bad last few weeks...like driving thru a swimming pool.
Wouldn't wanna ride a mo'sickle today. Rain is horizontal...wind is howling and cold as ice.
Last year was a bad winter. We only get bad winters every so often. So statistics say it will be better than last. Still winter though.
