I've already committed to come over your way, let the mother see the son for a few hours, whilst we go shopping for bedroom furniture and a washing machine, and pop into the Sister's on the way home to collect some stuff. My whole day is gone.

Hi BOTH,
tomorrow looks like a little sun but "low" temperatures 5/6 DegC locally,
I think ther are several Orger's out to play at Mallory track day, may have a meander at some time to watch/meet.
Sadly committed for today.

Thanks John, so the Mallory track day is tomorrow? I could be up for a bit of spectating at that in the morning Phil. Looks like it will be cold, but the important thing is it is warmer overnight, getting colder in the morning, so we won't have to worry about ice.
Is there a thread for the Mallory track day John?

Nope, forget that, looks like the track day was today

Not as good to get close to the track imo.

I think they are using the "full" new circuit at Silverstone, no sure whether they let VIEWERS round the outer access road, as its now a long way round on foot.
The one advantage of Mallory is you can get close to the track view easily from most areas, the one main problem now at Silverstone is that there is little oportunity to get decent photographs without the fence getting in the way.

Great run today, Long Itch Cafe for brekkie, then up to Rutland Water. Roads were terrible, but enjoyed every minute.

Sky broke up here about 5pm, got a red sky at night and the moon came out. It's going to be a cold night, but why couldn't it have done that in the morning and given us some sunshine? The freezing fog this morning wasn't pleasant.

That was horrendous this morning, i was wiping my visor more in the fog than in the rain , but we're all sourthern fairies down here arent we?
The weather channels all lied as it was supposed to be sun from around midday.
