View Full Version : Half a hairy shin

Hopefully someone can tell me that I am not the only one........

I noticed yesterday that the outside of my lower legs are becoming smooth (as in pretty much zero hair), but the inside is still as hairy as ever (i'm no gorilla, but I definately don't have Alopicha).

I am putting this down to my recently aquired boots. When I first started riding, I had a pair that were pretty loose, but my new ones are quite tight.

Is this something that anyone else 'suffers' from?

nope its just you mate , your a freak-it starts on your lower legs then spreads up the way , before you know it your sack will be like a snooker ball-suggest you wear high heels when your not on the bike.

I have the same, I've always put it down to wearing bike boots as they rub on exactly that part of my legs

I used to have a big bald patch on my back when I had the SV from wearing my rucksack to work, then when I bought the CBR-RR it moved up and got a bit longer, now all of the hair is growing back as I have an upright supermoto!!!

Could be worse, could have a shin with hair permanently removed by a car...and skin, and muscle......
but alas, may I point out its perhaps nothing so dramatic...the razor fairy is visiting you in the night, she'll be after your eyebrows next;)

I've seen what those Sidis did to my heel plates, I'm not rubbing them on my balls! :smt103

Or am I intentionally misunderstanding?

I have Sidi's too, I don't rub them on my balls either. Mine creak a lot (the Sidi's, not my balls).

It's good to hear that I am not the only one that is going bald in different places because of bike gear.

I suppose I could put my receding hairline down to wearing a helmet.... But really I think it's genetics.

Do have a rather strange bald spot where my watch sits tho
