Gilles Pointy SV Rearsets

Hey all, I have for sale a set of Gilles rearsets for a ponty SV.

They are in black and have only been trial fitted, didnt have the heart to race them incase I binned it. :D They even have the rear brake light switch mount built into them so perfect for the road. Fully adjustable and have carbon fibre heel plates. Few little marks on them but nothing you would notice without deliberately looking for it.

However they are missing the gear linkage rod. Can for the life of me find it anywhere. However you could pick one up from pro bolt or even gilles for not too much £££££

Cost me £340 about 5 months ago.

After £275 and about £5 Postage. Open to sensible offers. New Price £250 ono Posted!!!

I would have these if the linkage wasn't missing. Spare parts for Gilles are a total PITA to get and cost a small fortune.

Gear Change Rod = £32.18

Gear Shift Apater = £18.85

Then you have to go Calsport as Performance parts is a distributor, not a seller. Then Calsport don't have them on their website, so they have to order from performance parts.

Like I say it's a real PITA. Took me a month to get a set of replacement heel plates for the Gilles on my RSV.

You can get a replacement for Suzuki OEM from probolt for £10.91. However does these fit the Gilles? I suspect not, because look at the piccy's of the 2.

Probolt one's have 2 male threads at the end, and tastynuts have 2 female threads. Also there is no mention of the adapter which you also need.

you need a 6mm (i think its 6mm) threaded rod (head cut off a bolt) + lock nuts for the suzuki gear linkage then a link rod with holes at either end to fit onto the gilles + another lock nut. i have one somewhere but for the life of me cant find it. you can use the lock nuts from the suzuki link rod.

pro bolt do them and from what i can remember when i got mine they were from a kawasaki zzr. i think pro bolt do either ended ones as wel but their site is a pain to find anything now.
