I understand the speedo rotor differs in later years than my k3. Anybody know if this part (Speedo Sensor) is k3/k4 specific?

Ta much.

they are physically identical. from what i can gather though any of the bikes that have a lambda sensor have an 8 pulse while all the rest have 4 pulse i think suzuki introduced the lambda/cat in 2006.

Cheers. Worth a punt then.

Hopefully stop my SV doing 0-186 in milliseconds. And every number in between including when I'm sat at lights!

Most annoying thing is my odo has gained thousands. :(

It behaves perfectly normally for days at a time.

Just in the door at it's fine again.

Replaced the rotor 2weeks ago. Working! Few days later not working. Take apart ,rotor still in one piece. Moved onto the connector block above the rad. All wires fine. Everthing where it should be, not getting stretched etc Everything cleaned. Can't get to a mate with a voltmeter for another week. Will have a better idea then.
