find out who is your local bike bodyshop. My local guy can get and mix 90% of the suzuki colour codes
and will do touch-up pots

I think the bike shop is pulling your leg. I'm sure there is a euro directive that says it has to be available for 10 years after the final production run.

YSF metallic Triton Blue is a bitch to match! Apparently (and I might have been misinformed on this) you spray on silver and then lacquer with blue ink and sparkly bits in. I had a right old job matching it but my guy got pretty close in the end. Probably best buying the right paint from SVRacer at www.stevejordanmotorcycles.co.uk

I am a Suzuki dealer and Suzuki do have it in stock with no issues. I think your local place just doesnt know how to use the order system properly and gave you duff info which im not surprised at! The old part number is superceeded, not discontinued you just have to know what your looking at when you run the part number through the system.

Yup those heavy metallics and later paints seem hard to touch in properly. The deep silvers on the Bandits are the worst.
