I didnt get any trouble with my tiny and baffle free scorpion, as long as you don't take the micky (full throttle 9K rpm past a police car) then you should be fine.

Not had an issue in 3 years with no baffle in my Fuel exhaust.
In fact, the officer who pulled me over for speeding last Xmas (who has a pointy and a Fuel can), asked me what it's like for volume!
I don't think it's really that loud in all fairness.
Coppers are so young these days they'll stop you and tell you how "wicked" your bike sounds and can you pull a wheelie while he films it on his fone to show his mates in the pub later. Probably.

It's not that the cops are getting younger mate, you're just getting older!
Technically, they can book you. You pays your money, you takes your chances mate.

Considering that coppers have a knack of pointing out the obvious, you must be one? :p
I personally think they'd probably have to be in a crap mood to book you for it.
Was out one night speaking to a few friends at the local meeting spot and the police came to move us along as past 11pm we're not allowed to be there as it's near houses. Both the cops were bikers and noticed I had no baffle but didn't do anything about it. They said I was too young to be sitting and chatting and I should be off speeding and pulling wheelies like a nutter!
When I got pulled for speeding the copper clearly didn't have a clue about bikes and didn't bother looking at anything at all, or he just couldn't be bothered! Nearly every single time I've been pulled in my car they at least check the tyres.
I ride past two police stations on my way to work, and never had any complaints anout my Blueflame can. Often plod is hovering around getting in cars, etc.

lmao
i've had an un-baffled fuel exhaust for about 4 years now. Only been pulled once (not for the can) where the copper gave me a general lecture and told me to put the baffle back in. no fine, just words of advice and the promise that he would be looking out for me over the next few weeks to check if baffle was in!
kept the baffle in for almost 10 months before taking it out again and have had no trouble since *touch wood smiley thing*
