For those who have a decent idea of used bike prices -

Been offered £800 for my '99 naked curvy, import, 27k miles on the clock, against a '57 plate GSF650SA (half faired bandit with ABS), 6k miles on the clock, new tyres, chain, sprockets, heated grips, standard otherwise - up for £3,490 before trade in, so £2,690 to pay.

Sound about fair or more bargaining to do?

Cheers, Jez.

Sounds about right for trade in value given age, milage and the fact its an import. Not too sure about the price of the Bandit, sounds a little steep.

sounds about right, as I could probs haggle £1400 for my 2000 with 10k

Cheers guys, thought the bandit price was a little high compared to a couple of newer ones I've seen about. Will try giving a bell tomorrow and haggle a little, hopefully it will be snowing and the dealer will be wondering where his next customer will be coming from.

to get an idea of price look on ebay, looks to me like you could pick a 650 from a dealer for about 2500 with a similar age and spec, maybe even less private
