Who remembers this great TV show?

I was chatting about it to Stewart (aka Spanner Man) and Bill on Monday.

There was a time where the politicians were so much like the puppets that Spitting Image was not needed for a while. But I reckon it'd do well if it started up again right now- plenty of ammo for lampooning around at the moment, whether it's celebrity or politics.

Every now and then, they'd throw out something that wasn't quite a gag and didn't hold back.

It's still relevant, 'cause they're all still at it. Just spinning the same story from a different angle.

Spitting image was great, would probably get slapped down before they started if they tried to bring it back :(

A friend's boyfriend worked for them making puppets. I did ask him to nick me Maggie, but he wouldn't because he just knew what I would do with her.
