1st time I've been in ages. It was ok, had a good chat to Milky Quaile. What an ambassador for the Isle of Man he is, top bloke. He even told me of a good spot to watch at the Southern 100 next year :)

In my humble opinion the 2 best bikes at the show. These must have had some serious cash thrown at them.

See the fashion for fugly headlights and exhaust hasn't gone.

GSR750 looks ok, except its in white.

Exhaust and tail tidy makers must be going round each stand saying 'Thank you, there is a god'

Yes I think that the Japs must have bought a clear plastic moulding factory. Even the new Bandit has a droopy headlight

I really liked the GSR750 especially in the black metalflake and have my name down for a test ride when it`s released :D

I was really surprised to find that I could reach the floor on tip toes so with my ladystar boots I should be ok PLUS they unofficially told me that bigger dogbones are an option :D

did you see the MT01 fighter there with a big dirty turbo on it with a 160 front wheel ?

Loving the two kettles, they look really well finished off and bet they sound wonderful with those expansion pipes.

Is that the mainly chromed and polished one, if so it lives just up the road from my mum and is bloody monstrous.

It was one of the nicest bikes on the Suzuki stand Claire, I said to my son that they make some dog ugly bikes lol

My pictures dont do them justice. Carbon wheels, one has a single sider, the finish was absolutely top notch.

Going to be controversial now (what a surprise :)). I think that the Norton is a really nice looking bike, but, if they want to be a successful company they need to look at the way Triumph made their money.....Copy the Japanese, then start building replicas.
It sounds as if I'm being negative towards them, but you only need to look at companies like Buell, Bimota & the 1980's Norton to see what happens to "one off" bike manufacturers. Guzzi were in the same boat until Aprillia bought them out.

Must resist, You cannot do that at work.

Now if they could get that GSR 750 to look a little like them, perhaps it would be a nice bike.

However, a bit of bit swapping needed. That hugger with the grill needs replacing by the curvier solid one. and I prefer the chrome fork lower over the black. so whoever did them, got yhem nearly right.
