Has anyone tried or used either of these in their helmet?

If so what do you think.

ive got an oxford huff sat next to me that i picked up from the nec for a tenner. Not fitted it yet but it does have a bit that goes over your chin that could make it anoying. Will fit it later tonight and let you know tomorrow if you like?

I have the Foggy - very effective once you've got it fitted right for your face / helmet combo. Does what it say on the tin / packet. The only downsides are a) that it does shoot hot damp air up behind my glasses if I forget and breathe out too heavily and b) the nose clip thing digs in my head when I take the helmet off, so have to remember to pull it slightly forwards. So thats 2 downsides, and an upside everytime you breathe out and the visor doesn't fog - I make that a win!

I use a foggy every year, having to wear glasses I need my breath isolated from them, and it does that, good and simple solution to the problem.

Cant you just use a normal mask. cold killars etc?
I dont get any steaming up in my lid whatsoever since ive been using pinlocks, assuming thats the reason you want one?

I've just got a new helmet recently, and need to get some new velcro so I can swap the Foggy mask over.

I love it and feel naked without it !!!!

Sorry not got chance to test it tonight. I use a buff and find it doesn't keep the breath off my glasses. Really hoping this is different

Got pinlock but the visor still mists a bit with the right (or wrong) temp/rain/humidity etc, especially round the non-pinlock edges which is not the end of the world but quite annoying.

However, have had respro foggy for last 2 months and it is mint once you get used to it and get it in the right place in helmet. I imagine taking it in and out a lot would chew up the lining around the chin bar though.

Having used it I would not be without during colder weather.

In combination with balaclava and fleece neck tube I have stayed warm and able to see. Lovely.

Looks like the foggy wins. Time to invest in one!

I'm another fan of the foggy respro. Been using one since I started riding, cured the problem I had with my glasses misting up. Couple that with the pinlock on my clear visor and you've got a sure fire way to prevent any form of visor misting

IMHO.

I use the foggy respro as well. Takes a bit of fiddling to get it sat in the right position but once it's sorted that's it. I have mine in all year round.
