Well, yesterday the first of my little girls tied the knot. Pam, the one who keeps her SV in my garage, married Scott. It was the scariest day of my life, but a great experience. I wouldn't have believed a big, old, curmudgeonly git like me could be so emotional, but there were several occasions where I could have cracked up. When they talk of giving your daughter away it just seems so wrong. Even though she's 28 years old and has lived in her own house for 5 years now, it felt so strange. He's a lovely guy though, and an awesome speaker, his speech was absolutely amazing. Sadly though he's not a biker, and if he becomes one he wants a.... I can't say it,...... Harley. She'll probably knock that out of him, she told him that if he gets one they'll have to agree on a destination and she'll wait for him at the other end on ride outs. She has her mum's wicked streak. Poor devil, I did try to warn him. If I've managed to attach it, here's a picture of Pam with Fi and Corinne, her sisters and bridesmaids. Pam decided not to wear the Dainese gear on this occasion, she wore the dress that her mum made for her.

Congratulations!

My beautiful daughter got married this summer. It was a joyous day and I just felt happy. Then she changed her name to his on Facebook - that made me cry :(

Congrats to them both, she needs to work on that Harley thing though.

I cried tears of joy when my ex-wife changed her surname... from mine to her new husband's

Awww, wonderful news.

Nice to know that even curmudgeonly old gits can have a bit of a cry! Beautiful pic by the way, you must have been the proudest man there.

Lots of people like Harleys, there is a cure and all it requires is a go an a nice V-Twin, like an SV... I am sure that she will work her magic on him. Saying that though, I love the comfort of my factory Custom bike and the ability to cruise at fifty five on the motorway and not feel like a plank!
