Holy crap dude, what do you do that you can fit bussa pistons in a 650?
You must have access to a savage machine shop and garage.
Fair play, looking forward to hearing how you get on :smt039

lol, busa pistons are the same size (near enough) to the stock sv ones but weigh a lot less, i have access to a good garage but not a machine shop
basicly you get the busa piston, fit sv rings, hone cylinder to give 0.055-0.065mm of clearance between the cylinder and busa piston fit piston using busa pin and circlips and jobs a gudden
i will have 2 busa pistons available soon if your interested
Are compression height and valve cut outs the same? Does it change the CR?

yes yes and no not really
you can split the base gasket (i think or head) and take the middle out to increase compression
ps they are 17g lighter each and forged instead of cast like the sv ones
