Think the general consensus on TRE's is that they should go straight in the bin anyway.
A properly set up PC3 will do what the TRE is supposed to do.
Skip has a PC fitted to his 1000 and it transformed it

Thanks maviczap, was thinking along those lines but was after confirmation,
Barwel, so it can be easily returned to standard should the need arise, also lead to believe that the pc3 optimises the fuelling at a faster rate than the ecu alone.

A PC3 or PC5 cannot override or expand on what the ECU can do. They work in line within the existing parameters of the ECU. When the ECU goes to input a certain amount of fuel, the PC3 will alter that value and add a pre determined amount instead. It wont work any faster than the stock ECU - TBH though stock ECU's are more than good enough for 99.9% of applications out there by a very long way
A PC3 is only worth fitting if your going to get it custom mapped to suit your bike. The downloaded maps generally are no good.
Your a long way from us by the looks of it so remove the TRE, fit the PC3 and get someone who knows what they are doing up your way to custom map it. Possibly Motrac racing, ive used them for cylinder replating work and were very good, they are Liverpool way??.

Very good advice, this is what Skip had done to his 1000.
