Decisions, decisions!

I'm just getting this off my chest, because the Samaritans were engaged :)

Its funny, but I'm going to give up making wishes. The old saying, be careful what you wish for has unfortunately come true and of course, they've all come to bear fruit at the same time.

I'm in the enviable (or not as the case may be) of having three choices in front of me. All very good and spookily, all three something I've wished for in the past but spread over decades.

And they've all landed together.

Each takes me on an entirely different and completely polar path through life. They couldn't be much different.

Of course you can mix into that the usual mix of guilt, going back on promises, leaving friends and loved ones, the trepidation of the unknown, ongoing commitments, wondering which will lead to the better life? (I don't care about the money) Is the choice I make going to be the right one etc.

Whichever one I choose it'll be a hell of a ride! I know which one I should take but its never as simple as that is it? :)

unfortunately, that I can't do, until after the decision is made.

I'm a great believer in Fate though. The swine that he is! He makes the banker on Box or No box look like a right soft southern softie! :D

TBH B, it would help if we knew what the options was, but, im a firm believer in we only get one chance on this earth (hope i get proved wrong) so when life changing opportunities come up, grab them as much as poss otherwise it will eat away at you later, wondering what if?

You said all three were very good so it doesn't matter which one you choose.

You also said you know which one you should choose. So choose that one. It's a win win situation.

You will have got one thing that you always wished for and you will also know you have chosen the one that you knew you should. So no regrets or remorse after the event.

The last time I "followed my heart" and ignored my head I ended up peniless and it was the worst 5 years of my life :)

Obviously Sod has also applied his law and if this crossroads had come along in 3-6 months it would be such an easy decision.

So if I can just stretch it out by three months...

Get off the fence before you hurt your ar5e, and before one of the opportunities disappears. Do the one that excites you most, and hope the others reappear when you are done with the first one...

But if one of them means hurting someone, don't do it. When the buzz and adreniline wears off and reality sets in you'll regret hurting them.

I'd go with that too - you can spend too much of your life doing what you think you are supposed to be doing and not enough doing what you truly want to be doing.
