dvd hard drive recorder e1000 error

Ok geeks

E1000 error on my dvd freeview recorder

only a cheap argos wharfedale one but it turns on and nothing..

showed e1000 error and now nothing just blue light on but the screen blank

any ideas?? :stupid:
