Thanks to much input from Zunkus, and MissYC, I made progress with this sketch

And turned it into this, there is still much to do, and these photos don't capture it well, contours of me and that. The shading is still coming out day by day.

My skin still resembles that of a snake :( Its not the ink doing funny things.
Its my first, and it took a little less than 2 hrs of mild pain, and irritation. I'll be going back for a few alterations.

All credit is yours Louisa. You're a brilliant artist and should keep drawing more stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing more drawings from you.

Stop it, I'm blushing, I have a lot to thank you for, telling me what looked good, crap, terrible! A lot of encouragement!

No. Gabor did it. Hes a very nice Hungarian fella, have a look in my friend list;)

A little more work, two hrs is a short time to get a tattoo of that size right first time IMO. Theres one or two areas I'd like to detail and shade a bit more. But, the more the days go on, the more the grey comes out of hiding, as the red disappears. I'd prefer a little more white too.

It looks absolutely lovely in reality, its just where it sits on my shoulder, things look out of proportion in photos.

I hate it when they are at the scabby stage of the healing process! It's soooooo tempting to scratch and pick but thankfully I have always been sensible enough not too! My friend did and wrecked the tattoo because it went all blotchy!
