Get yours converted. Mine was done by Saxon but Tony Archer has a good rep and doesn't cost the earth.

Turnaround is quick too

Yeah I had heard of Tony Archer and was considering it. The seat on my bike is a lowered seat though, I don't need a lowered seat as I'm pretty much 6ft it was just on it when I bought the bike and I've not had problems with it. Do you reckon I should try and pick up a cheap 2nd hand regular one to be done rather than the lowered one?

Yes, then you can ride the bike whilst its being done. Then sell the lowered one to offset the conversion cost

I was lucky enough to buy Paiste's converted seats which were done by Saxon

I've also got the number of a local guy who does seat covers.

Ring your local bike shop and see if there's one in your area. I bet there is, you might have to buy a gel pad for them to fit, but its not a difficult job
