I sold an item (my daughter's old toys, for the nosey:p) and the buyer hasn't paid or contacted me. It's only just over 24 hours but I've sent an invoice as a 'hint, hint' and I've messaged. We're only talking £10.50 FFS.

First time it's happened to me:-({|=

How long to leave it before (a) offering the item to the underbidder as a second chance, and (b) leaving negative feedback?

I`d give it a few days - a week tops, it could be that they only have access to a computer during work hours on the sly...

Wot he said, not everyone is on/has access to a pooter everyday. Unless you stipulated something like a 24hr response?

If you open a case with the resolution centre they will state how long you have to wait.

It's only £10.50 but so annoying cos they're toys, and if I give the bitch 5 days, well that's Christmas, and they won't sell after.

Also, you cannot leave negative feedback anymore as a seller :p

So I'll click the positive box and then say what I think in free format:cool:

I think 5 days is the standard time frame.

If its the Slyvainians familes stuff it will still sell after Christmas.

They are probrably still stuck somewhere in a snow drift ;)

I usually pay immediately but may be a couple of days before I do so, depends on life load at the time. You can't do anything for 7 days I think, regardless of any terms that might be in an auction, they mean nothing.

Simple solution, find out where the winning bidder lives, drive there at great speed and ring the door bell. While waiting for the door to be answered, pull on a black balaclava and black out the circles around your eyes.

When the little old lady who has bought the toys for her great Granddaughter answers the door, push her really hard in the face so that she falls down, then lean over her and scream really aggressively demanding payment or face the consequences of broken legs. After all, it a tenner! :smt098

This would fit the bill if you are prepared to sell your little ones toys! :smt077

Your other option is to be patient for a couple of days, some people can be really lame on E-Bay.

Blooming eck Ed what`s wrong with you??

The woman is hardly a "bitch" for not paying for 24 hours!!!! She might be unable to get to a computer as someone has already said, she might not have been able to get home due to the snow, she could have somebody ill in hospital and her purchase is the last thing on her mind.

You don`t know the reason but don`t be so horrible :(
