How's The New Forest Roads doing, folks?

Hi all,

Providing we don't get the promised snowdump on Thursday, I'd like to ride to the folks in Walkford on Friday.

Route would be M3, M27, A337 and A35.

Are the roads in decent nick right now?

Roads are all clear down this way. I'm up the road in Salisbury but sharing an office i have some one from Portsmouth that uses the M27 daily to commute (No snow and very quiet this morning) and someone from the NF and he says there's not even slush on most of the roads down that way.(Unless you go down very small hardly used roads.

Cheers Diamond. Folks said their road has been icy (is a side road), but will take a view on Friday or even Saturday morning as to how things are. The big snow of tomorrow is not looking very likely right now, so it's just temperature and ice to look out for.

I guess it was the forest roads that concerned me most- but I'm sure the A337 and A35 are used enough to clear the worst of it.
