Bought one in the spring, has a trickle funtion as well. Multi-function for 12v and 6v batteries for cars and bikes.
Not only brilliant product but fantastic customer service from the makers Medion.
Had a small problem, dropped them an e-mail and within a week new unit direct from the factory in Germany.
Next time they are available, highly recommended.

Medion the PC manufacturer?
I think so, they seem to do alot of stuff, satnav's, MP3's and alike.
Can't vouch for anything else, but the charger is great and the after sales service has been superior to anything else I have experienced.

I have been using one from Aldi for the past 5 winters, it's brilliant. Makes me wonder how other manufacturers can charge so much

Always forget to look in there, can anyone post it up here when theye next on the shelves.

Same as Lidl, they have bike bits sometimes, but no pattern to when the stuff is available.

Nice one for the heads up mavic, had a look at the link and i`ll be getting one of those.

Incase anyone cares, I use those headlight bulbs also listed on the Lidl deals, both in the sv and my car, the sv having the +50% brighter, and theyre thoroughly recomended, especailly when they are only £4 a pair!!

Far better value than £20 equivalents, and I never had any complaints about poor sv headlights.

Only problem I find with Lidl, is thet tell you when the offer is, but sometimes the store doesn't have the items in.

Usually they do have the motoring stuff in loads, so hopefully I'll pick up one of these chargers.

I'll buy the bulbs if they're that good, cheers Lee :smt023

What size you put in h4 or h7?

SV's are H4 I think

Is indeed 2 H4 bulbs for the curvy S, guess it must be an H4 for the single headlight.

I never found the headlight to be rubbish, so the bulbs must be pretty good, theres 50% brighter and a blue tint version available.

Im hoping the motorbike goodies will be back in soon, the gloves are pretty good for £12!!

Dont forget, offers out tomorrow.

I picked up the last charger in Wigan Lidl on the way home tonight as well as some spare bulbs.

Bought one a it's currently maintaining the spare bike battery, will get it on the spare car battery over the weekend. Great buy! Thanks for the heads-up on here. I've been looking at C-Tek chargers since my last charger was 'borrowed without consent' from my driveway by an unknown individual, who hasn't yet returned it. Does what it says on the tin.

I only bought the one though - as unlike the comment at 3:50 in the video on the lidl site (http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_17091.htm), I am not a 'motorbike freak' and do not collect motorbikes. Not to say I wouldn't if I had the money though. ;)

Watch the lips and listen to the commentary, the video was obviously in German originally.

BTW - these chargers won't actually revive a dead or completely flat battery as advertised. The battery needs to be holding at least 7.5V or the charger won't operate.

Please tell me if my understanding of batteries and their capacity to hold voltage is flawed and this is a perfectly acceptable feature to be marketed as 'reviving a completely discharged or dead battery'.

got one today, just tested on the battery stored in the loft since the snow came, saying its charged.
A bit optomistic

Can vouch for the Lidl ones since we have SIX of these charging up both bike and car batteries on a continuous basis. The SV is on it's original battery and has been hooked up for over 5 years!
