I promised my 12 y/o I'd buy her some Ugg boots (chesnut high leg) theirs so many copies flying about I just need to know the best place to buy from, I've registered with Ugg Australia but they then have to be shipped from Australia, how long will that take???
My neice had some for Christmas off her b/f but inside they don't carry Australia logo? I'm confused :-$

Hi,

I`m not sure where you`re based but i know westfield shopping centre in london has an UGG shop - I don`t suppose you can get more authentic than that.. :-)

Daz I gonna rain on your parade.

£200+ for a pair of boots? Are you mad?

Was in Jack Wills in Chester yesterday, daughter likes their clothes, she bought a few in the sale with her Christmas money from Granny and Grandma.

There was a woman (fake musquash, tasteful jewellery not cheap, expensive hairdo) looking at their coats, in particular the 'Brockton Greatcoat' - it was really a reefer, but with fancy pink and blue lining. £225. She was on the phone to someone I assume her son, the name 'William' was on her iPhone.

She picked it up and went to stand in line to pay.

I wondered whether to say something like 'madam, apart from the lining, you can buy exactly the same coat in the army surplus shop in Liverpool for £70' but decided she wouldn't appreciate it.

Ugg boot, there to make all wearers have poor posture, and flat feet.

Do your daughter a favour, don't buy them any excuse, and save her shuffling around like some slouch when shes older...well actually as soon as shes worn them :)
THEY'RE SLIPPERS....not outdoor attire.

Another mad bloke:rolleyes:

DMs are £70 minimum:rolleyes:

Buy German para boots, again the army surplus place in Liverpool - it's called Callans - has 'em, but so too will others, I paid £30 for mine Grade 1 and I can HONESTLY say that they're the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever had. They look a bit thuggish but I couldn't give a toss:D:D

Sorry Daz for the derail. mods you might want to shift this lot out into a new thread.

Broken in? Already done for you. I went and polished mine when I read the earlier stuff, had applied the polish but not polished it off so they look a bit dull, but here are some pics to show how they really are damn fine boots:

Ugg boots? Got to say daz they'll be a good method of contraception if any young fellas are sniffing around in a year or 2... got to be the least flattering footwear ever seen.

Girls, for f***s sake, shuffling around in a sack and a pair of slippers, you trying to look like geriatrics? Make a bloody effort.

Para boots are brilliant, god knows how many miles mine have done but they're still waterproof and only just starting to wear through at the heel... They're that good I'm even considering having the cobbler put some new soles on them for me (they're now para-slicks)
