As the tittle says, I will be off to work tomorrow and not really looking forward to it. The rain has cleared the majority of the snow so hopefully I can get the bike out for a run.

Puts things into perspective really. My contract finishes in March so I may join the club. I have already started to apply for jobs but after contracting for the last 15 years my CV is so long that I guess people don't bother after page 2.

Cheers for that and some very important points. I moved to the Midlands a few years ago with what I packed in the car.........another long story :rolleyes:. Got a contract with Thomas Cook almost straight away. then did a year with Network Rail and have spent the last year working for the NHS in Nottingham. I did have half a year with no work and don't want to go back there again. I took the decision a long while ago I would only go "permanent" if I really wanted a specific job so I don't worry about it (that is the other half's job). What will be, will be.

no work for me tomorrow as my wife is back in hosptial due to an operaition thats got infected

so i at home looking after our three kids a 5yr old 4yr old and a 6 week old baby!!

I decided to go back to work on Monday even though the company I work for doesn't start back till tomorrow. Mainly down to the fact of how empty the roads have been so I've been able to get more done. Should be finished for the week by lunch tomorrow. :D

Been on call since yesterday morning, another 6 days to go and was out from half 4 till lunchtime. About to go to sleep.

I wouldn't worry about the ice by tomorrow morning but the fog is a bloody nightmare, i couldn't see the front of the van this morning.

Been at work over xmas anyway, first day off Jan 4th.
