Taking my bike to my mates body shop in the next few days. Got a fully faired in blue but i`m after something different. Black and white, white or black only, bright colours, anything really, not decided yet!! Anyone got any pics or schemes they have seen?
Cheers, Electro.

Try something inspired by this band (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannibal_Corpse), they always have challenging art work such as this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butchered_at_Birth), Might cost you a bit, but it will be unique...

Cover it in Glue and then get the Org to come around and shave their nethers and stick it all over the bike ..... I got the Idea from Jackass 2 .... if you know what scene I am talking about :)

I have a totally original Idea ............. just stick stupid "MONSTER ENERGY DRINK" stickers on it that have nothing to do with the bike .............. oh wait , it`s been done ?

To be honest , one of my favourite colours was on a Pointy , like a Dark Metallic Grey , the only one I remember seeing belonged to Bibio , that was a very nice colour , like a Galactic Grey on Kawasaki bikes .

Metallic grey hmmmmmmm
Ste, will try the dots on urs 1st mate :)
Go for a grey metalic with a gold lacquer over the top. This it will change on how you look at it. Much like the Arai Quantum Grey lid. Looks good.

And try and do something unique with the stickers as well , I prefer a twist on the originals , maybe slightly raised or something

Stick around on here long enough and that sort of stuff pops up , I think it was one of the Guildford mob that had it .

i'd stick to matt, gloss or metallic. i was going to spray mine white with a pearlescent blue tint but the mix was wrong so left it with the base coat, quite glad i did as personally i find pearlescent doesn't work on bikes, the panels aren't big enough to really get the effect across unlike on cars ect so can look tacky.
I've always like binky's paint scheme (not the ****ed up look  ;)), i reckon that in red a white would look pretty damn swish, I'd do that if i was going to spray mine again

thanks Badger. i loved the colour to and wish i still had the bike.
here is the bike in question:

(click pic for a bigger picture)
the colour code is YLF metallic thunder grey.
Satin finish bright orange with subtle black logos and satin black wheels and a satin black frame. No fake sponsorship decals and no hideous graphics.

Silver frame and wheels and i`m not stripping down to paint the frame. Liking grey more and more so far though. Perhaps some burnt orange lines to enhance the curves on the bike. Going to go for matt black sv lettering and only the ones that should be there with an org sticker or 2 somewhere.
Heres a thought... :0)

Liking this but the black would have to be grey and slightly less orange or completely burnt orange

As I said at the AR that is a nice bike. Quick question though, it looks like you have covers over some of the bolts in the frame (swing arm, engine mounts) what have you used for that?

Noticed a guy selling them at the local autojumble just black plastic covers.Thought it gave the frame a nice neat finish.
First curvy I have seen that I like :)

That's gorgeous GMS! Really nice.
I was thinking of buying some new fairings, but as the bike keeps developing faults, I've got the **** with it and will keep what I have (re-inforced with fastglas).
Though I may get some red paint and make a 'feature' of the battle scars...

GMS`s Curvy has to be seen to appreciate the work that has gone into it , his is the only Curvy I have ever liked , and that`s more to do with the work that went into it and the way it turned out .... spot on (but that`s just my view)

That's lovely GMS - didn't know you'd done that to it. looks great.
