Just sold 3 tonnes of lead to a scrappy. To be dismantled and taken away next week. All I need now is a dog, cowboy hat and neck chief.

Anyone know where I can get rid of a couple of hundred pounds of leaded lab glass?

Only a quarter of an inch deep ones. Laid straight over grass.

Errr. Not experiments but radioactive source storage and testing.

I like dhags but the last one started glowing in the dark after I took it into this room :D.

I'd speak to a local demo firm and see what they'd recommend.

As I don't think the glass could be landfilled and can't be chucked in a recycling bin

out like this?? :D

I have been told that the glass can't be recycled But I will leave it to the demolition guys to dispose of if I can't sell them. The glass blocks would make great paperweights but they must weigh 30kg each and are not that big. I might tie one to the bike instead of a ground anchor.

Horrible video that. The same colours as some of the people I work with ;-)

We are always collecting the scrap metal where I work. Got £500 for a couple of barrels of copper from last years collections

This is a few grands worth of lead. Unfortunately I don't get the cash. It goes straight back to the people I am working for.
