well a while back i thought about changing the sv. so i went to look at a CBR. was gorgeous but a bit pricey. hondas seem to hold there price well.
a week later i went to look at a R6. well i kinda left a deposit on it. and said i sought my money out.it was a private sale. so i went home and put my sv on piston heads. 3 days later i waved goodbye to it. and a made a bit of profit on it after 18months.

so now i have a R6. the 2 bikes are realy dif but i love the R6.
earlier this year i took it to sainte maxime in the south of france. 2.5k in 7 dats and 2 up. was erm fun.

it was uncomfy but then it wud have been on the sv. and i keep spendin money on toys for her.

anyway dont hate me but heres a pic.

That's so nice - one of the most focused bikes to ride I've been told? Does the little devil on your shoulder have a megaphone now that you ride this?

Yes there is a devil on my right shoulder he's always tellin me to be be stupid. N there is my mrs on the left. The devil usually wins. Damn self control. Haha will bear that in mind but I don't wan change it for a while. Prob till I can insure a R1.

Well no. It is proper loud. And it has the baffle in. It's about the loudest exhaust u can get. To be honest it is a bit to loud but it looks to good to change. Graham

Good man, loud is good. Only got rid of my stubbied can because the little old lady over the road objected to it.

The 2004 R6 is one of the sweetest useable 600s ever made and not as race focussed as the later models. My daughter has one, and she's also owned a 2005 model after the first one got run over - she rebuilt it once she was paid out. She kept the 2004 and sold the newer one pretty soon after buying it. She's had 3 GSXR600s and a GSXR750 since but has always kept the old R6 as her trackbike cos it's so good.

Good choice

They are to quick on the road. There is a power band at 10k and then it realy flies. It is ment for the track. But I carnt bring myself to do it.
Also I had the seats re done so it's about another 35mm taller. It's quite a distance to the floor.
