I might come too, to blow away the cobwebs... having finally managed to unseize my front calipers.

I've refilled my Snottoiler and I'm about to check my oil before pootling up to Halfords to get a new tyre pressure gauge.

Perhaps I'm not feeling well.

Blimey Caroline, you'll be adjusting the doo-hicky next and everything.....:)

Steady Mark, best not to rush these things.

I bought a very nice whiz-bang gauge - I think it was the most expensive one they had.

My thinking being - if I spend more money on it, then I'll be more likely to feel that I ought to use it*(and)**.

*Faultless "woman's retail logic", I think you'll agree.

** The possibility of having under-inflated tyres, which may be a hazard, ought to be my incentive to use it... but, well, you know...

Viney - I've just had a look at the forecast for tomorrow and I think it may just be too cold for me (well, my hands in particular)...

I would have really liked to come and the Booby Bike is raring to go - but I think it's just a few degrees too cold for me to be comfortable and for my hands not to conk out.

Have a great time and ride safe.

I might just have to join you lot one day seeming as I only live in Tunbridge Wells... I shall keep my eye out!

Oh that's a shame, I'll willingly loan you my bar muffs for the day if it changes your mind, only takes a minute or two to fit and keep the wind off, I was in summer gloves at -7 without the heated grips on just recently :smt102

Cheers Mark.

Thanks Mark, that's really kind, but the ride to and from Oakdene will be more than enough to cause trouble to my hands sadly (based on the riding I did on very cold days just before Christmas).

yes translucent although if anyone could pull it off (Ooooh matron) it would be you, isn't the best of looks I'd agree.

wish i had found this earlier, rye is one of my usual haunts

*note to self* must keep an eye out.....
although i wont be riding until april, the bikes in pieces at the moment and ive promised myself that im not riding until some decent ish weather comes along which im guessing is april (even if i get it back together before) plus it gives me plenty of time to stop spending money on fuel and to get fit on the push bike again
