Well, I just got the towbar finally fitted to my Clio, and I
thought I'd get the bike out to give it a start seeing as I
hadn't started it since I last used it when it decided to
break, but my friend put it down to just needing a clean of the carb.

After running some carb cleaner through it, the bike then
decided it still wasn't having it, and eventually the
kick-start seized. Obviously I was confused by this, and I
took it down to my local bike shop where I get all of my
work done, and he informs me that to him it sounds like
the valves are bent, so I left it with him and he's going
to dismantle the engine and let me know whats up with it.

So, all in all, the bikes killed its self, or i've killed it
without knowing I have, and it's going to be an
expensive fix as apparently they're titanium or
aluminium. =/

Fortunately, my dads going to pay for the entire repair
=D But it's still depressing not being able to go out on it
in the snow ='[

ARGH!!! I feel your pain. I'm looking into getting a motocross bike sick of watching it at Doune.

But I'm going 2 stroke as I'm scared of killing a 4 stroke due to costs involved. hopefully a YZ125 or KTM125...

I hope you get the chance to get out on it again soon...

If you can find one, have a proper look at the Husky WR125's, that one I had was easily the best fun I've had on 2 wheels and I'm still gutted I had to sell it!

Side by side with my mate's KTM SX125 the Husky was lighter, nimbler, had sharper brakes and was much, much quicker!

At least 2 stroke are easy to fix, which is good, because you'll be doing it a lot!
