hi all
just thought i'd introduce myself, joined a little while ago as i love the look of SV's and finally pick up "my" SV650S last night (first big bike since i past my test), not the best day to pick it up, in 14 miles i went through heavy rain, hailstone and finally snow, in the dark.

however, had a blast on it today which was ace.

all i need now is a different rear can to make it sound awsome:smt025

anyway, having spent the last 20years as a petrolhead tinkering with various cars, i am now looking forward to spending many happy years tinkering with bikes:D

cheers
Jason

Well you tackled a lot of noob phobias on your maiden voyage(especially the dark on an SV), so in most cases I think you'd pass as being...

A-Hard as nuts
B-Nuts
C-A wally

I'd say you are a wally, cause you came here...welcome to the madhouse :)

ps where are you from, cause <<<<<<<it don't say under yer avatar

thanks for the comments guy's.
now i have covered a few miles i'm thinking...its a little bit quite and could probably benifit from being a bit louder:)
i'm currently trying to convince the wife that a louder exhaust will alert other road user to my presence, therefore it is a safety feature;)

Halifax

Welcome to the Pennine Massive!

Thought Rawtenstall rang a bell, seeing as one of my best mates lived on the Tod side of Bacup Rd for many years.
