I agree but when ever i went over 5k the video repro went to hell watch it again and you will see the drop outs.
Now put yourself in my shoes, you want the vid to be good but have to stay under 5k now thats real frustration!!!! hence the quick change ups to get speed.

yes i do record to tape because the reproduction is up to now far superior to mem stick. I have now shortened the mount so that it doesnt suffer from vibes so i get no drop outs.
yes it was a nice day but remember it only rains here maybe 30 times a year

Well done on the vid.
Looks like some great roads there.

yeah that vid is not quite half of that section of road this section is some 60kms long, it is easy to say I should have been revving it higher but you have to keep plenty in reserve as some of the corners tighten up and others open out sooner than expected. Also to ride this section of road require a ride of 2 hours along other twisty roads just to get to it then when you arrive near andorra it is a further 2 hours to get home, sometimes it is difficult to keep the concentration going for that long!!
I did that road, and I'll be doing it again later this year! :)
Really like the climb up to the top of the mountain heading west towards Sort!

on video yes but i had been able to see across the valley some time before what traffic was coming so knew the road was clear after the bikes went by.
i have seen vids taken with the camera on the helmet which would show this sort of detail but the problem comes when you get to a corner and are lookind where you want to go, not where the bike is going , plus you have to concentrate on moving ones head slowly, thats too hard , so occasionally one gets an unexplained manoevre as a consequence.

no they were good guys i did it last year with a group from the svportal but had to do it with my tdm as i had written off my sv going into the side of a car that had crossed the main road without stopping. I now have a new sv and am doing battle for compensation.
The whole essence of riding these roads is to resist the temptation to ride too quickly but to leave something in reserve for the unexpected tightening corner this way you get to enjoy the views as well. after all one wants it all to be enjoyable without too much concentration after all it is not a race
if someone in my party was to ride up my arzz like that i would not be amused.
lovely road though.
We've got some cracking roads in this country but none as flowing, well surfaced, free of traffic, scenic or as long as that. Jealous! Nice soundtrack with that thou infront too :)
Added to my to do list :thumright:

There's actually a few even better roads in this region. Pretty much all the roads come to think of it are awesome in the French / Spanish Pyranees area.
Bibio, that's not really that close to be honest, just a few moments of bunching at corners.

I think you misunderstood :) I said they looked like good guys to ride with :smt082
You look to be right! With the amount of decreasing radius turns that you see in the video i'd be erring on the safeside myself! That and a total lack of skill = slow rider :D (talking about myself btw so there arnt anymore misunderstandings!;))
