Got up this morning, made a brew and then put the news on. What a surprise I got, when all of a sudden, an easter advert appears.
Nearly jumped out of my skin. Then the wife came running into the living room with a worried look on her face. She heard me screaming " NO, NO! ".

Yep, I seen one last week, what makes them think our lives are so f**king s**t that we want to look forward to a chocolate eating day in 3 months time?

I wish they would f**k off and stop making adverts for stuff that we don't need, especially 3 months away.

Apparently the "official" Cream Egg "season" is 1st January til 24th of April this year
It was on one of their advertising campaigns a while ago...

Egg season at Willy WOnkas starts in Julyish, making something like 140 eggs per minute.....mile upon mile of chocolate eggs ... the most boring job in the world is packing them all up, makes you motion sick after a while.

Personally I don't give a monkeys, I just won't buy them. They're only taking up the same shelf space that was occupied by mince pies since August. I honestly don't see what the fuss is all about. :smt102

They have a short shut down after xmas for maintenance, then depending on orders depends when the new season starts, its usually in full swing after Easter, although sometimes they have to do a few runs before if they get orders in.

I do! lol! Know how long that is!

Yes, indeeedy;) And you'll completely understand the mile upon mile of eggs, although bet you couldn't work a 12 hr shift on the egg line:pale:
