Got a Puig double bubble for my pointy as an xmas pressie. Looks fantastic, but does anyone know what this part is for??

It looks like the trim which goes round the edge of the screen closest to the rider. It makes the unfinished edge of the windscreen look finished.

+1, does look like screen trim

So you mean along the bottom edge of the screen (which is a bit rough) before I slide it into place between the inner and outer parts of the nosecone (doesn't seem to be a lot of space to do that...), or along the top (which is smooth)? Will it matter if I don't put it on??

It goes on the top of the screen which is still visible, try it with and without it on as it can cause a bit of turbulence. I took mine off and it made it quieter.

I found that it starts to come off on the edges at speed mate if not a tight fit so just watch for that you dont want it to fling into visor.

Ok, thanks. I think I may just leave it off altogether - looks fine to me without and sounds more hassle than it's worth!

Jo you may have to put a blob of super glue at each end of the screen to make this trim stay in place. I did with mine because of the curve at the screen end.

Hmm... superglue would be pretty permanent! Ergonomically, does it make a difference if I don't put the trim on? I'm fine with how it looks without!
