I hate the spell check on my Iphone because it sometimes seems to just put anything it likes in.
It would also seem I'm not the only one:

ps sorry if anybody has posted this before.

I'm with you there.
I normally manage to catch the word changes though. The one that'll always get me however is the very last word of the text when I immediately hit send and realise it's put some completely different word!

One example: I tried to write "nooope" and it decided to put "nipple"!

My favourite from the website is "I broke my penis and it exploded all over my pants" class.

So many times i write a quick text and send it before checking it.....some of the messages make no sense :)

It is worse when texting my cousins in Italian though!!

+1.
predictive messaging is always annoying I find. I even hate it when the iphone autocaps the first letter in a sentence, it's only a blady text.

No problems like that on Android - the Dictionary/Spellcheck is lovely :)

In fact its so good that when the bug in the current hacked Gingerbread software that doesnt load the dictionary showed up I downgraded back to Froyo to get the Dictionary back.

It is frustrating on the iPhone.

For example if you type 'me'... it changes it to Mr... I mean how many times do you really type 'Mr', surely 'me' should be the standard word for that sequence.

Are you on crack? It does not change a correctly spelt word like 'me'

Mine doesn't change 'me' to
'mr' either but I do know where you are coming from, when you are on a mission to write a message then i make loads of mistakes and it changes the word (which I have already spelt wrong) to a completely different word... It's happened twice in the message so far!

But it's very annoying when typing a word that isn't a proper word and you press the space bar before hitting the suggested word...

Android is crap by the way.

having fat fingers and bashing two letters at a time is more annoying I find.

I genuinely nearly died on day because of that website. No one should laugh that hard for that long.
