OK, so have booked my euro tour with mostly the B&B's off this site.
Can't obviously tell you what they are like yet, but responses from various dwellings seems to be friendly and welcoming.

Lets hope the weather is suitably acceptable when I go, will sure place a ref. for the ones I go to and see if they are all they promise.

And before anyone says anything about B&B / Camping, if I said camping to wifee[-X, we would not be going.

I used bike stay when I planned my journey through France. Unfortunately the B&B in Peuplingues(small village just outside Calais) we used is no longer listed. I can defo say that upon experience of that place, you're likely to have some great accomodation booked through that website.

Put it this way, when you are riding through France to get to Peuplingue in torrential rain, and realise you ain't going to get there until very late and you call them to tell them not to worry we are enroute in broken but understandable French, you really don't expect to find a nice lady that welcomes you with some lovely soup and rolls at 10pm!

Just back, the Bikestay places were brill, especially recommend Larkfield.

Their website looks a bit old fashioned, but the welcome and friendship is unbeatable.
Very comfortable rooms, private pool, mega breakfast & dinner if you book a day ahead (and by golly Sue ca cook).
PLUS the only bar in the village serves a mega 3 course meal for 13 Euro, well I think it was 13 since I had way to much Pastise to be exact.
Trevor & Sue are ex-UK, so lingo no problem, very very nice people.
