Not being one to not have my finger right on the pulse, I wondered if anyone would be interested in AR11 clothing?

No point in getting anything moving if no-one is interested, after all.

T-Shirts....Hoodies...Definately interested. Think most people probably will be to be fair. Great wee momento to have of the weekend.

Yes please!
In past years Paul the 6th has been very helpful but things may be a tad busy for him this year.

+1, though I feel a bit of an ar$e asking for it when I have absolutely no intention of doing anything to help with it. Whoever does the clothing make sure you get a pint out of me on the night.

You pay for it though?? Do you feel an ar$e buying a t-shirt in a shop??? lol! ;)

No, but the shop are doing it for a living and making a margin, not doing it at cost out of the goodness of their hearts. I'm sure the folk who do these things for us normally are not skimming a profit on the side.

I would offer to help with the T' shirts, but I don't know anybody who can do supply or printing, and I'm not that reliable when it comes to getting things done, so I'm probably not the right person to do it and couldn't do it at mates rates.

personally it would depend on the design really, I think the map thing for 2009 was good, not so keen on the sheep thing though.

Cheers Mark.

+1 Like the names of the places we went through, like Steeple Bumstead :p

I really liked the sheep. I think if it represents the area/traditions and stuff, or if its a map, then whatever. orose and Dizz, may have an idea for T-Shirts already and whatever they decide then I'm sure everyone will be happy.

17-01-11, 09:42 PM
Oh I'm sure there will be some that will buy whatever it turns out to be, which is why I said personally, I'm not keen on cartoon logo's or T-shirts and wouldn't wear one, which was why I didn't get an AR10 one, but made my own, it's everyones own choice I'm just saying I prefer a more classic design.

dizzyblonde
17-01-11, 09:56 PM
Personally I think it should have a Bambi on the front...seeing as its a return to the killing grounds ;)

I am however joking too!

Messie
18-01-11, 07:56 PM
Maybe open it up for a design competition?

orose
18-01-11, 08:12 PM
Given my artistic abilities, thats probably the best plan...

gruntygiggles

T-shirt and hoodie for me please....don't care what it looks like, it's just become tradition :-)

dizzyblonde
18-01-11, 09:10 PM
I'm artistic, but not a graphic designer. Never ask me to use a computer to create anything!

orose
18-01-11, 09:14 PM
That might be something... I'm OK on the digital tracing paper

dizzyblonde
18-01-11, 09:17 PM
I think perhaps we should do what the GMers do. Have a thread for folks design submissions, then hold a poll for the best one. Then find a nice person like Pt6th or Cbay, that can print em.

I've just had a load of band T-shirts and sweat shirts printed it was well cheap work out at £2 per shirt!
You wouldn't want my design though cos you know it would be tie dye

I would be up for a hoodie. Still wear my AR10 one camping and to slob in.

If i got time i will give design a go but making it a competition is brilliant idea.

I'd like mine tie dyed black with some black for contrast and maybe some more black, and then of course a little more black to complete the styling.
All on a black shirt of course. ;)

So, let me get this straight... the ideal design would be black on black tie-dye with black writing?

Let me see what I can knock up...

Seriously;
I'd like to be able to read peoples names.
Not sure how easy that would be with tie dye unless they were of more pastel (ghey) shades of colour.

A couple hundred bikers wearing lovely soft pastel shirts???
Black is always in fashion.

LOL, see DAve on the left, used to hang around with him in the 90s. Obviously a more recent pic, as its not got one of my exs on it.

there music is things like this (edited by DB, as original link was not SFW etc)

or the one everyone knows (semi safe, but kids may require counseling afterwards)

The stuff Craig does is brilliant, and it washes well too. Rather than have the names on the back only, I think they should be on the front also, in the top left say. It makes it very easy to recognise people if you are new to these ride outs, like I was at the ARTNW.

dizzyblonde
01-05-11, 08:39 PM
Thats what usually happens Dan. Top left, and scrawled across the back :)

Impatient lot AREN'T you!

Aye Pauls just finalising the tshirt design. It be here shortly, when hes back from conference, tad busy you see. It be order from his web page when hes set it up.

I've had conferences thrown at me, the works van broke down and needed new injectors/egr/injector solenoid, hell even my main office pc died a death this morning but it hasn't stopped me from finishing the website & pulling everything together.... (although maybe 2-3 days slightly later than I would have liked but hey ho)

Dizzee will be posting the definitive clothing thread shortly :D
