I have a fleet of the Maisto model bikes and Wifey has a super expensive 1-12 scale Kawasaki Z1 that is both beautiful and exquisitely well made. Her model cost on its own more than all twelve of mine cost together, but then hers has working bits on it like suspension forks and brake lines that are made from fine threads.

Try about £70 for one of these!
Have a look at the website here (http://www.minichamps112.com/).
Daz, what happened to the model cottages and Doulton ladies?

I have a few, two Raptors a yellow pointy (grrr) SV and a Valentino Rossi Yamaha. Dylans got a Triumph and another one somewhere, as well as two Alpha Romeo specials.
Dave you won't find a curvy SV, just like I doubt I'll finds a silver VRaptor. Only ever them orrid reed ones.

There's a big model shop in Cardiff that had lots of these, I was surprised to see they even made a model pointy (in the very commonly seen orange ) but looking through Maisto's catalog there's no Fazers at all, bleh!

I love the minichamps stuff but I'm a tightwad and i'm not willing to pay the money for them...
I used to make the tamiya models but I endded up getting annoyed as I couldn't get them built to my stupid exacting standards.

Web address please, the cheap yellow Maisto one is rubbish and lacks detail. Also it is a bit small to cuddle up to in bed at night and the wife wont let me bring the real one in! [-(

Might be going under the knife later in the year so may have some time laid-up.
A feck off big Tamiya bike model is in the plan. Wanted a Kat, only saw a CB750F or a :smt078XS1100. Boo!:???:
Only done the smaller ones, stuck in a caravan somewhere back in the day. All eventually suffering pretty terminal damage, off the side of my wee sis' head.
As you do.

I currently have 7 of the Tamiya bike models made, did have a few more but they've got broken in my numerous house moves
Have got a 2006 H*nda RCV211 waiting to be made, got detail-up parts to go on it as well such as metal forks and fork tops, metal drive chain, metal clutch cover, metal rear sets, metal brake discs, etc, etc
