Chris has been certified 'fit to fly'. This means that once the insurance over there and the NHS over here can arrange the paperwork and flights he can come home. So that could be the end of the week - or some time in 2013 if the NHS administrators are left to sort it.

His mum said that his physio (the secret ladyboy) has been giving him some hard sessions and making him play with children's balls. :smt103

She also said "He still has quite a vacant look on his face from time to time - but what's new?". And yesterday she mentioned that he is at times randomly confused and forgets things that only happened the day before. I reassured her that this is nothing to worry about and could be a case of 'DayafterARitis' which we all suffer from occasionally - often during the first weekend of August.

He'll go into hospital once he arrives back in the UK, and I will post another update once I know more.

So although the news is very positive he is still a long way from fully recovered.

In the meantime, his mum has been referring to me as his PR manager so I felt it only professional to send on to her a press clipping...

Fit to fly is good news, but it does mean you're fit for all the abuse the org can deliver.

Have you asked the mods to change your name to, "Zombie biker" yet??

Now your mum said you had memory loss but you haven't forgotten you offered to dress up as Santa for the Soho Christmas Party if we could move the date so you could make it have you? I've ordered the outfit and had it delivered to your home for you.

You can bring a plus one if you like. Sure Bebe your new 'girl' friend would love to come along.

They are only doctors Brock, not miracle workers.

He won't be back until early next week. No doubt he'll be chirping on here before then.

That's if he's not too busy watching this...

Abuse ?

Wait till we find out which hospital you're going to be in when you get back so we can come & visit the 'poor tender soul' - then you'll know what abuse is !!! :p

Glad to hear you're on the mend mate

I'll be along later with some quality abuse. Right now I'm feeling a little bit lacking in inspiration, so I'm just going to read some US car and bike forums and I'll be back on form soon.

Glad to hear you're on the mend Chris. I would never be so rude as to abuse you.

Not on the internet, anyway. Much better done in person.

Look forward to seeing you on home turf.
