According to an article I read in a magazine today, redheads have more sex than those with any other hair colour.... discuss....

I cannot qualify this as I'm an auburn adonis but I wouldn't throw a stunner out of bed just because they were a carrot top.

Although I (used to) have dark hair, if I grew a beard it came through ginger.
Not sure what that means. Maybe that's why I don't get much but talk about it alot? :)

i had red hair for a time...can't say I noticed a difference...wonder if YC did...

But does it apply if you are a natural redhead who dyes their hair another colour I wonder? Is it the colour you show or the colour you really are underneath the chemicals?
This is my natural dark red - but I've been white blonde, natural blonde, brunette, burgundy and even black with blue bits - was I still really a redhead at heart?

My first love had that colour hair and skin :smt060 and believe it or not she was Italian!
Good question LPH - i love being red though I'm a natural drak blonde (hate that) and like you been every colour under the sun including bright bright orange
I think personally both because underneath you'll always be red but I think you can also take on the characteristics once dyed.

Certainly true, in relation to pain at least. There's something genetic which makes gingers around twice as sentive to pain as those with other colour hair. Anaesthetists have to use, for example, twice as much local anaesthetic prior to surgery, etc.
There, don't say you haven't learned something today :-)

I've yet to meet another ginger Italian too, but that GF's mother was born in England from Irish parents, and was married to an Italian and living it Italy when she was born. So it was just her father that was pure bred Italian.

I is Ginger and can 100% confirm the whole pain thing.
When I had my ear op last year, I had a conversation on this subject as the Anaesthetist was talking to me on way to theatre. I also have a very low pain threshold.

Since I left mine to go to it's natural colour I now find people always ask me about dyeing it. Mr LPH calls me 'Gordon' who was a baby Orang Utan featured on Monkey Business on TV.
