View Full Version : Fuel Exhaust Pics Wanted
Hi guys and girls
Looking to buy a new Fuel exhaust in the next few months and was hoping anyone who has one could post a picture here so I can compare regular to stubby, stainless steel to titanium etc.
Your help is much appreciated

DarrenSV650s thanks for the pics. I do like the titanium look, just not sure about full length or stubby now :(
Was it easy to fit? I love getting my hands dirty but living in a flat limits the number of tools I have access to
Nice bike! The stubby looks great. Darren, did you fit the gixxer forks yourself?

The stubby got a bit loud for me. I prefer the sound of the full length, but I do like the look of the stubby. You just need a hacksaw, socket set and maybe some allen keys

Thanks. Yeh I fitted them a few years ago. Took me a while

;) I know it's the stubby that's fitted, but where the back of the can sits never changes. Just need to make a couple of spacers. :)
I never carry a pillion, so leave them off

Even with spacers that came with my Micron headers, its very tight behind the pillon footpegs, as I discovered when I used a round ca. Fag paper clearance :D
Better with an oval can

No not particularly I have just heard really good things about the cans and like the look of them. I guess it all just comes down to personal preference

I got a fuel carbon look stubby last week and im over the moon with it, it was only 158 quid,
ordered it friday night and it came down south for tuesday morning,
sounds great with baffle in, quite a nice throaty tone, but even better with the baffle out!
would 100% recommend getting one!
