My fairly recently purchased '99 Fireblade and my old friend the '98 ZX6R have gone to be replaced with...

...an '05 GSX-R 750.

Lovely.

I've actually had it for nearly two months but have only just been able to ride it due to selling the others and of course our mighty weather. (Weekend warrior here). I will still see the last three bikes I sold because other Soho members have bought them. In fact I saw two of them tonight! Weird.

It's a lovely bike although the rather heavy steering damper will take some getting used to.

Bring on Spring.

Thanks. I'm going up to Sarah's folks tomorrow so I'll get a chance to straetch it's legs. I need to fit the inforad pronto.

Never ridden one, but it seems like an excellent choice for the road.

Congrats on your new bike Monkey! :D

Good to see that you've finally seen sense and bought a Gixxer ;)

congrats on the 750 buddy, I had an srad 750 and absolutely raved about it to anyone who'd listen. It seemed quite a common 'mod' for the steering dampers to have been taken off the older bikes, so might it be worth trying the bike with it off for a couple of weeks once the better weather arrives? If it feels better off, leave it off - if you'd rather have it on, re-fit it and away you go :)

Lovely bikes. Wish I'd never got rid of mine :(

But does that make you the forum dealer now?

According to the signs on the M4 from Junc 11 to Junc 17. They have been gritting for months and the accident which occured at the begining of the month is still going on. But that's another topic I guess.

No. That is my bike in that photograph. This is not the bike you are looking for.

Ugh, philistine.

That photograph is a snapshot of a great moment in time and not just a bunch of little coloured dots (and funnily enough neither is your Garfield!). That snapshot shows me on my lovely bike, which you stole from me in exchange for a lumpy trumpet and some small change.

Phil who?

Looks like Simon's Cat (http://www.simonscat.com/) to me, much more resourceful than Garfield (http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/post/1407889717/g-g-the-book)!

Absolutely. Simon's Cat rocks.

Monkeyboy - the Kwak no longer has unwanted protein on it from last summer.

It's nice and shiny now .
