Anyone fancy coming around to wash my bike? It is filthy. I can provide water, cloths and bikewash.

Thanks.

Where in the middlelands are you?

Google SDOC100... And your cleaning nightmare is over... Just wish I can find a local supplier as I've not tried it yet. The ducatisti people rave about it.

Hein-Gericke sell it, but appear to be low on stocks at the moment across the UK.

Plenty of bods on eBay selling it too.

You can order it direct off the sdoc100.co.uk website now, based in hook, Hampshire. Near my work, so I may pop in on the way home Wednesday and pick a load up, quite a few of their products look good.

Works out at an extra £8 when you order it direct. I'll wait for HG to get some more in.

I am in Loughborough.

I am waiting for some SDOC100 as Santa got me a subscription to Bike magazine and it was the free gift. Hasn't come yet. Is it any good?

Bike now clean, polished, tyres pumped, GT85 where it needs it (cant understand why the front cylinder drain hole is not on the left side of the bike though), chain cleaned and lubed and put it on the optimiser although it didn't need it.

I'm not looking forward to cleaning the bike after using this winter (+ degrees only :p), it's been coated with acf-50 so I get the feeling it will be quite stubborn dirt...it will be my first post winter clean and I'll be using a toilet and tooth brush and elbow grease I think

It was more of a rhetorical question than an engineering one.

Leave it , they don`t get any dirtier after a year , mine is slathered in ACF50 and looks like the bottom of a bird cage right now , underneath all of that I know it is just fine :)

Fenwicks FS10 for the win by the way , works on my MTB and the SV whilst I drink a brew and watch the cack slide right off

Is this basically the same as the S-Doc100 stuff then and is there any issues with leaving it on the bike for, say, 20 mins once you've sprayed it on with a hand sprayer?

WOW I've been looking for something that is a total bike cleaning kit and this is it!!!

http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/SDoc100_Winter_Cleaning_Kit.html

£45 not bad for starters...

I want to keep my new baby (sv650 sport) nice and clean ... well it is white.... correction was white... it is now a dull grey from the rain and crap off the road!
