SV650S: Removing restrictor?

Hi all

Im new to the site

I own a 2008 sv650s and its currently fitted with a restrictor

Can anyone give me a few tips as to how to remove the restrictor, or point me in the right direction if this advice is already on the forum?

Most likely it's restricted by ECU (a box under the riders seat) look at the part number on that & search on this site for which part number is the restricted one & which is full power to be certain.
Then buy a second hand full power ECU on ebay or this site for about £50.

Make sure the ECU you buy is the right year for your bike (I think there are 2 different ECUs since 2003 to account for the dual spark plug per cylinder)
