It was "brisk" this morning on a long razz to work. It's only four miles, but I somehow managed about twelve!
Coming home, yep, a bit nippy! Heated grips and handguards make life very pleasant! Short route home though.

I don't know it was too cold to go out.:p
2 deg on the East coast, not incl the wind chill factor, despite the sun being out
21 miles. Mostly country roads. The wind chill made it errrrrrrrrrr chilly.
Mr Lou said it was cold too. I had a lovely warm car as I had to drive to Physio (my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)

Thats why i wont buy heated grips, i tried inner gloves 2 days ago, made my hands even cooler!
Need some wind deflectors i think, or heated gloves.

I ventured out yesterday for the first time since October last year.
Should have put my neck roll on, chin got a bit cold. But hands, lovely and toasty. Heated gloves, I had to turn them own as they got a bit too warm.
Quite nippy last couple of days - and the forecast is threatening the return of snow :(

If you're freezing, then you probably don't have the right kit. I was really toasty on the bike yesterday morning, despite the freezing temperatures. I even forgot to switch on my Jett heated vest (http://www.jett.us.com/) as I was warm enough without it. The Jett is excellent. It's a really warm garment in its own right and has 3 heat settings. I never need to use the hottest setting.
Lots of layers is the key. I had:
T-shirt, warm shirt, Jett heated vest (switched off), fleece, textile jacket with additional lining zipped in.
Thermal base layer, jeans and leather trousers (large enough to go over jeans)
Thin socks, then really thick warm socks.
Heated grips and handguards

tee shirt
fleece,
body armour
padded lining
jacket
overvest
and extra long thermal snood
i had two pair of socks on, thermal tights, padded lining and trousersplus winter gloves -was still cold-sometimes it don't matter what you wear its just cold.

I know what it's like just with our fleeces and big jackets on with the body armour so aye, I can't imagine being the most mobile with bike kit on too!

45C, 100% humidity and spent the day sweating my guts out in full gear. Oh joy!

We are supposed to be issued with bike specific body armour - but it is made to measure. The measurements are made whilst wearing leather pants. Problem is, GMP have changed the supplier from Hideout to Hein Gericke and when I went for my kit, the decision hadn't been made which pants we would get.
Result? No body armour for me!
I'm the same as you Husky, loads of kit, not a lot of movement. Safety first, says the job.
Didn't help Sandy though! Remember her? (http://forums.sv650.org/member.php?u=6059)
She came a cropper before Christmas on a job bike. Broke both wrists!
GWS Sandy!
Pete ;)
I went over to Welshpool today, and then on to Llanfair Caereinion, I wanted to take the bike as it's a fine twisty road over to Llanymynech and then a straight (and fast:cool:) one down to Welshpool and a hilly twisty to LC but it was -2C on the car thermo so the bike stopped in the garage. Last time I went out in the cold it near ended in tears and I won't risk it.

I wouldn't swap with you... I prefer what I have.
There is a negative side to lots of sunny days. I was in at the docs on Friday having a chunk the size of 50p coin removed from my left arm because of a lesion.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Commuting to work, mainly on the bike. I cant comment on the weather where you were, just on the weather where I was.
