Hey guys, I noticed today when I was taking my bike out, if I have the bike in gear, with the clutch in and then rev the bike then she'll try and push forward a bit. Normally I'll have my foot on the back brake so may not have noticed it, is this normal or a possible clutch problem?

Thanks.

Ant.!!

possibly a clutch adjustment issue or maybe a clutch wear one (lookup clutch basket wear), both have been extensively covered on here previously.

Cheers Mark.

Have you changed the oil recently? When i last change mine the clutch seemed to drag a little just after but it stopped after a few rides. Don't know the reason why it did though.

Thanks for the reply guys, she's due for a change soon . . would it be wise to check the basket before filling her up with oil again?

Best thing would be to check the adjustment before anything else. But do it properly as per the manual or sid squids many posts here on how to do it.

Does it do it at all when the oil is warmed up ?

i would just use this symptom as clutch needs adjustment, if it carries on afterwards, then start looking at more serious things that could go wrong.

start with simple most obvious thing it could be, always worked well for me. and saves you draining everything out and looking at the clutch if its just adjustment needed.
