Last day tomorow but you need an online filing number. As I understand it you only get clobbered for the £100 fine if you haven't paid them what you owe in tax.

I had a demand for 3 x £100 fines several years back and politely reminded them that I had moved house three years earlier, sent them a letter about it, and it wasn't my fault if they ignored it. Fees waived (hoorah) but I had to complete the three missing self assessment forms (boo). Thankfully my income is all taxed at source so they decided to stop sending me the forms shortly afterwards.

Posted mine today (or rather my mum did hopefully)Into the Tax office itself I hope. Anything that arrives after 31st, is counted as late. I'm PAYE these days so no longer get a form :D

Er paper ones shouldve been received by 31st October not January, only online submissions will be accepted by close of play tonight, this also includes paying what's owed.
