Unfortunately it's not bike related.

Roughly a year or so ago I was informed I would be asked to play for a relatively good side in the Northampton football leagues...few personal decisions and lack of commitment, I knocked it on the head. All season I have regretted it because I thought I would never get the chance.

Last week, an anonymous phonecall later...you are now looking at Wellingborough Town's No2 :) Made my debut for the reserves last Saturday and impressed. Word has it, there will be an opportunity for me to break through for the first team very soon, if this comes about, there is the possibility of wages, and endless opportunites within football apparently :D

A very happy man indeed, things are starting to go right.

Ive been a chippie 20 years, don't mean I'm any good :)
I still play on a Monday night on astro turf, just 'friendly' games normally 8-9 a side, players averaging 20 years old, still one of the first picked :)
I'm old and slow now, but still make it bloody difficult for the skilled up young uns to get by me, they all wanna play up front and can't defend for toffee.

Goal keeper is an ace job!! If you let one in you shout at the defence and tell them they've done a crap job...by your avatar I guess you have already got that part of the job sorted :)

I wonder if they'll have a no motorbike clause in your contract though?

He would perhaps rather forget about that.

Well done Stu, that's great news.

When you're a top-notch rich and famous premier league player and you need a ridiculously well-paid massage therapist, let me know .
